Part of A Thread Through Memory collection, exploring the memories we carry, the parts of ourselves they leave behind, and the process of learning to hold them with compassion. Brighter and darker colours blur together in this exploration of the way memory rarely exists in just one emotional place. The vivid blue marks move through the painting like a thread connecting the present to something half remembered. For me, they represent the act of consciously exploring the past and finding pieces of ourselves still living there.
