INSPIRATION:
I wanted to paint that specific feeling when love feels calm instead of chaotic. When you can just be yourself and the other person meets you there like two hands reaching and easily finding each other.
But before any of us can hold that kind of intimacy, we have to learn to accept ourselves exactly as we are. Without shrinking or hiding or fear.
I didn’t just want to showcase a love story between two people, but also talk about the self love and acceptance it takes to get you there.
It begins with learning to accept yourself exactly as you are — no hiding, no shrinking, no fear. And somewhere along the way, you meet someone who sees that version of you and feels like home.
