INSPIRATION:

A woman kneels on the floor, peering in and holding items from a memory box. This painting holds to a key idea: “what you resist, persists”. Memory Lane explores the rituals of diving into the past in order to heal wounds we leave buried away or avoided. Facing the memories we thought would once break us, this painting represents the walk down memory lane as a way of reclaiming pain into beauty, grief into gratitude.
